The Gibson/White Trio (trumpet, bassoon, and piano) will give a recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Choral Room (158) in Angelle Hall on the Â鶹Éçʼþ campus.
Admission is free. The concert is sponsored by the Â鶹Éçʼþ Student Government, Lyceum Committee and the Â鶹Éçʼþ Concert Series.
Marilynn Gibson, trumpet; David Gibson, bassoon; and Corlie White, piano are all faculty members of the UL Monroe music department. They are nationally acclaimed as artists and teachers. While at Â鶹Éçʼþ, the trio will perform a public recital, give master classes, and give lessons to interested music students.
